As you set out for Ithaka

Hope your road is a long one

Full of adventure, full of discovery ……

              (C.P. Cavafy)

I’m Heather Brown.

C.P. Cavafy’s poem Ithaka  speaks to me of adventure and sunshine, journeying and learning, youth and old age, riches and poverty, and so much more.  My work is with teams and individuals who are asking questions in this territory, such as:

  • I’m at a key moment in my life; where can I find my next direction?
  • How can I make better use of my unique talents, and/or leave behind aspects of my behaviour that no longer serve me well?
  • I realise that my body, heart and mind are connected; how can I take better care of them together?
  • How can I better understand the people around me and work more effectively with “difficult” people?

I listen well, and help people to learn how to do this for each other even more effectively. My aim is to help people journey into themselves to find the beliefs and values that will sustain and energise them as they make new life decisions, form new relationships and improve existing ones.
